Could it be???

Is she finally starting to barf less, almost none?! Why yes she is. And I could not be more happy, because for me that means less burp rags, less carpet scrubbing, and less laundry. I have been waiting for this day since she was a teeny tiny newborn. I never thought it would come.

And she's learning to contain the barf that still comes every once in a while.
"huh? It wasn't me"

"okay fine, I'll claim it. Do you want me to pose?"

Why thank you Brinlee for containing you barf, so kind of you.

Pals in the sun

It has been SO nice here. And I love it. So does Brinlee.
She loves to wear her new shades...we call her a "cool cat" when she has them on.

She was glad to have a pal to hang out with outside. Thanks Dominic!

Just chillin' and eating bottles together. Ahh this is the life.

We're enjoying sunshine here, hope you are too!

Where in the heck???

I'm sure that's what you've all been wondering. right? Where in the heck have we been? Well we decided to do a technology fast at the end of Joey's semester. We did it for three weeks, that's how long it was until the semester would end. It was hard. Much harder than I thought it would be.

Basically we did no movies TV or Internet (except Joey was allowed to for homework). I think the hardest thing was not being able to crash and put on a movie and just relax together. So we were wimps. We decided that we could do one movie a weekend. So we went to the Hunger Games (we were dying to go see it) and rented a movie the other weekend.

But even though we caved a tiny bit we still gained a lot from the experience. We did another puzzle together, which you can have pleasant conversation while doing unlike a movie. We read more, which is always good. And we worked on our own projects that we like to do that sometimes get put off because we can just hop on the computer or watch a movie. And we got to prove to ourselves that we can live without these things in our lives. Because I think that technology is becoming a big problem, especially with kids, but how can we expect them to not be addicted to it if we ourselves are??

Anyways I know what you have really been missing is not Joey and I and our lame technology fast story...it's pictures of Brinlee that you've really been missing. I don't blame you, they are very adorable!

Brinlee got an Easter card from Nana and Papa...

She looked at it.

She tasted it.

She tried the other side.

And then I told her it wasn't Easter candy, it was an Easter card

oohhhppps!!!
(sorry that picture is so blurry, I was trying to catch the moment quickly)

Then she smiled like it was no big deal.

I have lots more I would like to update on, and don't worry I will. Because Brinlee is just too cute to not put pictures up! But for now, happy late Easter!
