Birthdays, Birthdays, Birthdays!

For my family March is like the Birthday month, and all within two weeks. So a quick happy birthday to my two sisters, my cute little niece, my handsome nephew, and of course my Joey :)

I think I'll just focus on my husbands birthday since it's the most important to me. And I think it's so sweet when people make a little list of good things and such. So here you go. And in case you didn't know his first name is actually Josiah, which I thought would be more fun to use.

J oyful

Joey is a very happy or joyful person. I love when he shares that joy with his cute little niece and nephew and they sure do love him too.

I was having a tough time with "o" and when I thought original I still looked it up to see where I could go with that. One of my favorite definitions I found was: genuine and true. That's Joey for ya. He is a very genuine and true person. One way I think he displays this is how much love he has for his brothers and parents. When I see that I see genuine love.

S pecial
I thought this picture would show how "special" he was. Just kidding, it's just for laughs. He is special in the true meaning not sarcastic. There is no one else like my Joey, he is a very special person to me and to his family I'm sure. I love him and all that he has to offer.

I ntelligent
This is the only picture I could find to portray intelligence. Reading means your intelligent right? Maybe not his chick slippers but hey. Again seriously he is very intelligent and he does well in school, I can always count on him to help me with things I don't understand.

A we-inspiring
I love this picture, even though it's from his high school wrestling days I still think it portrays how inspiring he is. He is a very dedicated person so when he sets his mind to something he will do it, whats more inspiring than that?

H andsome
Look at that handsome devil! Okay maybe I'm a little bias but you can't tell me he doesn't look handsome in that picture! He definitely got good looks, i mean just look at that smile! One of the many things I love about him.

One last thing I wanted to share, the cool cake that I made for him on his birthday!!!
Even though it's not really football season, he still loves the Seahawks!

This is my first fondant cake, I've been really wanting to learn how to work with fondant and what better excuse than my husbands birthday? I think it turned out pretty good, I could still use some practice.
